WISHING MACHINE
Lavanderia a Vapore, as a “wishing machine”, turns into an organism that isn’t meant to fulfil or satisfy desires, but acts as a gym for people to practice desire, to learn how to desire starting from rediscovery and deep listening of pleasure, conceived as a space of self-awareness and potential rebellion to the status quo. Desiring is a choreography that invests body and imagination, flirting with the impossible to imagine possible otherwise and pluriverses: it is an engine of energies that inspires the future by mobilizing dormant resources towards something that is not yet.
