On November 12th, starting from 3 pm and until late night, a great collective party to celebrate the 7th birthday of the Collegno Residency Center, between immersive formats and widespread spaces.
After seven years no cell is like before: changes and renewals make their way into our body and mind, in space and time. For anthroposophic medicine there would be an analogy between the evolution of the solar system and the one of human being: the symbolic “archetypes” of the planets – in short – would be linked to human biography, highlighting its influence over the course of the various seven years. What changes in our body therefore reverberates transformations that go beyond our personal boundaries.
On November 12th, Lavanderia a Vapore turns 7, enthusiastically embracing not only its own metamorphosis, but also the transformations which animate our present. Through a rich program of artistic practices and interventions, the event will start from the re-discovery and care of the individual body to then open up to the care of the social body: an itinerary that, from the micro-dramaturgy of self and the re-appropriation of the body as political gesture, arrives at the re-definition of an aggregative context, with new collective rituals for the space-time of the “feast”.
With an increasing pace, the “birthday” will be started from intimate and soft actions – significantly hosted in the venues of a former Hamman (at Villa 5), in collaboration with Atypica cooperative – then accelerating in the evening segment, with a performance scheduled as part of WeSpeakDance, in which the choreutic grammar comes to deconstruct itself in a concert so open to invest the audience, protagonist of a celebration that invites anyone to dance.
