In today’s precarious and disenchanted world, in which hyperconnection and a sense of loneliness coexist without ever balancing each other, what does it mean to feel present?
‘thanks to the uprisings this world is a bit like me’.
Through the device of the work café, the workshop will give space for experimentation and the use of speculative imagination as a tool for collective political struggle.
Starting with an initial plenary in which participants name local problems within global power structures (e.g. the closure of an anti-violence centre, the opening of an Amazon hub), and after a smattering of political movement theory (political opportunities, mobilisation structures and framing), we will divide into tables to imagine the construction of a campaign, via social and mainstream press, confronting each other on the creation of a grammar that can be shared and sharable. We will discuss possible allies and accomplices, friends and enemies, with the desire to transform our personal desires for a different, better world into collective intentions.
Diletta Bellotti is a Roman researcher and activist specialising in human rights and migration. Since 2019, she has launched the ‘Blood Red Tomatoes’ campaign to inform, raise awareness and mobilise against labour exploitation in agriculture. She is part of the rebel writing collective ‘Fango’ and edits the column ‘Resistenti’ in L’Espresso. In 2024 he published ‘Blood Red Tomatoes’ with nottetempo.
The workshop is free and open to all, for a maximum of 30 people. No experience is necessary, aptitude for prophecy and polemics are welcome.

B. Bordoni is a visual artist and performer. His university studies (Accademia di Brera, Iuav di Venezia) are complemented by a heterogeneous training on movement and somatic practices and a political self-education that draws on transfeminist ethics. He is co-founder of the call monica collective (Santarcangelo festival 2021, Museo Guggheneim in Venice 2022, Istituto Svizzero 2022). In 2023 he was the winner, together with sound artist Lemmo Marano, of Cross Project, and an artist selected for the Nuovo Grand Tour (Creatività Contemporanea, IICP).
He currently lives in Turin, where he works on the relationship between art, pedagogy and ecology, exporting workshop formats in different contexts, from independent spaces to public schools. Mind-wanderers is her first curatorial project.
