An inquiry into the political significance of textiles and those who dress in them, in light of the current instrumental debate about the female body. Dressing up and stripping off the same clothes to reappropriate a human identity – hybrid and natural – in which to find oneself free to embody one’s life force beyond stereotypes. In this new version of the work, Aurelio Di Virgilio is the dancer: the naked male body in front of the power of the image rediscovers wonder and beauty, reconstructs the frame and the canvas, of which it once again becomes a conscious protagonist.

Masako Matsushita, an Italian-Japanese artist, works on movement analysis through research processes, choreographic projects, performance installations and community interaction. She crosses borders and cultures with her works, actively collaborating in choreographic and authorial direction within European projects.
