In Alloro_varietà aurea, forms are elusive: they transform, feed on inner light, wander inside the palaces of memory, become living sculptures. They are idols, icons, totems and tabernacles shining in the darkness, trying to challenge eternity. This is why they are poetic objects, caskets to be consigned to the evocative power of sound: they hold stones that, molded and exposed to light, become spirit and remind us of that need of ours to mythologize the real and reappropriate the fantastic, in the intuition that “absence and presence are the two forms of eternity” (F.Mauriac).
