Towards is a project that investigates the concept, intention and action of going toward through photographic imagery, shared writings, bodies in action and moving sounds. What does it mean to go toward?What posture is necessary to allow us this movement? What positions of departure to consider? What movements, directions, paths to go toward? And what temporary landings to imagine? Sinking in this perspective, situates us in the motion, not necessarily linear, of how things transit into one another, of how things go towards one another.

Elisa D’Amico and Francesco Dalmasso met during their studies at ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (NL). With a background and core work as dancers and performers, their collaborative artistic practice also intertwines and questions research, making and curatorship. Starting from a specific object of interest they articulate thoughts, choreographic scores, relational bodies, dances. They are part of the platform shared training torino and co-curate the project Workspace Ricerca X_research & dramaturgy.
