With making more room for critical thinking, Workspace Research X activates and cultivates a research environment as a space in which to collectively ignite and practice critical thinking. The circulation of knowledge, methods, formats, practices and materials is what continues to distinguish this environment, in which walls are forced open to further open space for discursive reflection and critical confrontation among peers, to bring out frictions, to establish new confidences with unthought-of thoughts.
The project, aimed until now mainly at Italian artists, takes on a dimension of exclusively international participation this year, in a mixture of approaches to research that shape and redefine a dedicated space outside the academic context.

Workspace Research X – Research & Dramaturgy is a platform for the development and support of artistic research and dramaturgy in the field of choreography and performance. Established in 2016 with the aim of opening avenues for the development and legitimization of artistic research in the Italian context, it is positioned in dialogue with Northern European models and is aimed at professionals in the field of dance and performing arts.
