Governance
The Lavanderia a Vapore project is the result of an innovative model of systemic networking, sharing objectives and governance between different local entities that deal with promotion and programming of dance, thanks to the collaboration of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, the Piedmont Region, the Municipality of Collegno and the support of Compagnia di San Paolo (private foundation). To share goals and governance, an RTO (Raggruppamento Temporaneo di Organismi/Temporary Association of Bodies) has been created with the following partners.
Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo
Piemonte dal Vivo is a Regional multi-disciplinary circuit that is engaged in a variety of activities embedded in over 60 municipalities across the region. The stages of theatres that belong to the circuit feature a wide range of performances, encompassing different genres and languages: from theatre to dance, from classical music to jazz as well as popular music and contemporary circus shows.
COORPI
COORPI was founded in 2002 with the aim of developing new ways of communication with the territory and its inhabitants, through the plural languages of dance and body. It enacts multidisciplinary projects combining performative, visual, sound and digital languages, focused on people, stories, emotions, in order to tell the territory in which we live.
Associazione Didee Arti e Comunicazione
Since 2001, Associazione Didee has been promoting cultural development through contemporary dance and its methodology as a means to make embodied experiences of the world surrounding us. Through inclusive, participatory approaches and collaborative networks, Didee organizes dance festivals, events and workshops with a focus on audience empowerment and younger generations.
Mosaico Danza
Mosaico Danza has been active for over 25 years‚ with activities that aim to support and promote young contemporary dance‚ both at national and international level. The association organizes every year the festival named INTERPLAY, dedicated to emerging and innovative dance talents, in which it is shown the best of the new contemporary dance with performances in theatres and urban areas, featuring companies from all over the world.
Zerogrammi
Zerogrammi is a dance company founded in 2005. The organic journey of discovery comes to compositional work through dramatic and choreographic research, social and educational projects, residences built around specific anthropological and geographical interests, practice of languages such as photography, plastic arts, literature, in order to give to the creative work new signs and meanings.

Torinodanza Festival – Teatro Stabile Torino - Teatro Nazionale
A major player in the world of contemporary dance, both for professionals and for audiences, the festival is designed to be a pivotal showcase of contemporary choreographic work, not least through its interaction with other artistic languages.
Teatro Piemonte Europa – Palcoscenico Danza
The Fondazione was established in Torino in 2007 and, through an offering that ranges from prose to contemporary circus and dance, its purpose is to develop a theatrical hub for contemporary creations with a marked international outlook. The focus on contemporary dance is Palcoscenico Danza, festival under the artistic direction of Paolo Mohovich.

Lavanderia a Vapore – with the aim of spreading the choreic art and supporting those who practice it – joins several national and international networks, as a member or associate partner.
EDN – European Dance Development Network
Lavanderia a Vapore, as an Artistic Residency Centre, has been a member of EDN – European Dance Development Network since July 2018. EDN is a constellation of contemporary dance organisations, engaged in accompanying and facilitating dance sector transformations (esthetics, production models, audiences) in response to the changes and challenges of the wider socio political context while strengthening the role of contemporary dance in shaping more diverse, equitable and sustainable models.
ENCC – European Network of Cultural Centers
The European Network of Cultural Centres represents over 5,000 cultural centres throughout Europe, with programmes and activities that aim to empower them and their communities. ENCC was founded in 1994 to promote dialogue and cooperation between social-oriented cultural centres in Europe. The main action lines of the network are capacity building, networking and advocacy. Lavanderia a Vapore has been a member since September 2020.
Étape Danse
Étape Danse is a trilateral project for international choreographic residencies that aims to promote the new promising creations of significant choreographers of the contemporary scene from France, Germany and Italy. The program, initiated by the Bureau du Théâtre et de la Danse à Berlin, was born from the collaboration between Fabrik Potsdam, La Maison center de développement chorégraphique national Uzès Gard Occitanie, Théâtre de Nîmes and Associazione Mosaico Danza joined them in December 2018.
BPPD – Boarding Pass Plus Dance
BPPD – Boarding Pass Plus Dance is a project for the professionalization and international mobility of under 35 dance artists and producers, supported by the Ministry of Culture. CSC Center for the Contemporary Scene, Santarcangelo Festival, Piemonte dal Vivo / Lavanderia a Vapore, Short Theater and Indisciplinarte Terni support for the years 2021 and 2022 the internationalization of dialogues, creative processes and research of artists and dance operators based in Italy, thanks to the support received from the Ministry through BPPD call.
Swans never die
The Swans never die project invites the audience to think of The Dying Swan, a solo that is considered a milestone in twentieth-century dance history, as an opportunity to explore style, technique, identity and culture. The partner institutions of the project propose a joint programme (live and online) that alternates between performances, workshops, meetings, webinars and artistic residencies and invites the audience to discover the multiple possibilities of tracing a timeless choreographic work through its contemporary re-interpretations. Following the journey between the history and memory of dance, the audience will be able to discover a choreographic work of the past and the numerous transformations that the dance went through since 1905 when it was first choreographed by Michel Fokine for Anna Pavlova.

Ring
During the pandemic time and in the light of what this situation caused in live shows field, the artistic directors of four renowned national festivals have tried to offer a concrete support to the Italian dance field. So, on the initiative of Open Festival / Fondazione I Teatri Reggio Emilia, Bolzano Danza / Fondazione Haydn, FOG Triennale Milano Performing Arts and Torinodanza Festival / Teatro Stabile di Torino – Teatro Nazionale, has been created Ring, a network that – every year – aims to support a choreographical production, inserting it in the programming of each one of the four festivals. Lavanderia a Vapore joins the network as associate partner.
